"A growing, caring gathering of Christians who share the gospel of Jesus Christ in Word, Sacraments, and service."
Worship Services

We offer two types of worship each Sunday morning. Our 8:30 worship is a contemporary style. The order of service is contained entirely in the bulletin handed out by the usher at the church entrance. This service is less formal than our traditional worship. Music is led by "Resounding Spirits" a group of instrumentalists (piano, guitar, tambourine, percussion) and singers from our congregation. Communion is offered weekly.

The 2nd service (11:00 during the school year, 10:00 Memorial Day through Labor Day) is a more traditional liturgy. The order of service is outlined in the bulletin and printed in the hymnal entitled "Evangelical Lutheran Worship" located in each pew rack. The bulletin identifies the parts of the worship service and where to locate them in the hymnal. Communion is offered weekly.

"Evangelical Lutheran Worship" is the latest worship resource of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America representing historic Christian orders of worship and hymnody. It is often referred to by its abbreviation, "ELW." The front portion of the book contains notes on the church year, prayers, and orders of worship. The next section, beginning with the psalms, contains the hymns.

Child care is offered during both worship services as well as during our Fellowship time and Christian Education hour.

The Visitor's Guide to Worship, located in each pew rack, is a helpful resource and includes information about our congregation, availability of childcare, restroom location, and communion practices.
